[GREENFOOT-341] Make it more prominent that Greenfoot transmits user data to greenfoot.org
BlueJ has the updateStats() function which get's called on Greenfoot's startup. updateStats() then sends a UUID (effectively identifying the user), information about the user's OS, the Greenfoot and Java versions used and the users language setting to greenfoot.org.
Two question's arise: Why am I being tracked via a UUID? And why am I not properly informed about this when installing Greenfoot?
I kindly assume that you are using the gathered data only for and respect our \- the users \- privacy. But wouldn't it be nice if users could "opt out" of this data collection in the installation process \- maybe even as the default? Interestingly enough updateStats() doesn't transmit any data if greenfoot.uid is set to the string "private" in greenfoot.properties.
