[GREENFOOT-512] Inherited canvas cannot be shown if you add an "extends Object" clause

This was a bug in 3.0.1: if you put "Object" in the extends clause in the Stride editor, clicking the little triangle next to it would do nothing, and you would get a debug log full of exceptions.
