[BLUEJ-128] Javadoc comment wrapping broken on first line of comment
The normal behaviour of BlueJ's editor is that inside a Javadoc comment, if you press return, it inserts a newline and enough spaces and asterisks to line you up with the previous lines comment indent. If you are editing the first line of the comment (the one with the "/**") and press enter, BlueJ not only inserts " * " at the start of the next line, it also inserts an additional line with " */" afterward, which breaks an existing comment. For example, I give the following template for my students:
{noformat} /** Description of class $CLASSNAME goes here. *
- @author (your name)
- @version (a version number or a date) */ {noformat}
As soon as they edit the description on the first line, hitting enter, this becomes
{noformat} /** A Foo is a structure containing
- | <--cursor is here */
- @author (your name)
- @version (a version number or a date) */ {noformat}
I can live with it choosing the uglier indentation level for the asterisk, but it's definitely a bug to close the comment like that. (It does this even if I'm using the ugly indentation myself for the other lines, too, so that's not it.)
This occurs on BlueJ 2.2.1 under Linux and Mac.
