[BLUEJ-262] long pauses in "Open Non-BlueJ Project" dialog and incorrect navigation
I'm experiencing long pauses in using the "BlueJ" -> "Project" -> "Open Non-BlueJ Project" dialog... it initially points to the BlueJ example directory which is fine. I thought I'd see how the BlueJ3 editor dealt with just normal Java files, in this case I thought I'd try it on some greenfoot projects. Problem is, when I select the pull down from the "examples" directory to another location, there are great (30, 60, 90 second) pauses between refreshes... sort of feels like it's trying to parse huge lists of something before refreshing the display. And I've yet to get it to actually navigate where I'd like. For example, on a Mac OS X machine, changing the dialog pull down from "examples" to "Macintosh HD" and then scrolling down, the dialog hangs after trying to scroll down past what's initially displayed. Java version being used is: % java -fullversion java full version "1.6.0_20-b02-279" -- DanG / Daniel Green / Oracle Corporation / daniel.l.green@oracle.com / dangjavageek@gmail.com
