[BLUEJ-401] Links between Object Inspector boxes
The attached image file shows two Object Inspector boxes.
The one on the right represents the value field of the one on the left.
However, there is no visual connection between the two and I wish there were. I'm not sure how best it should be achieved, by links or by placement or by highlighting target boxes.
By highlighting, I mean that if my cursor lingers over the value field in the box on the left-hand side the box on the right-hand side should change color somehow to show that it is what is pointed at.
Note that the parent Object Inspector can be closed...so whatever arrangement was decided on would have to be robust to this possibility.
jGrasp makes use of a tree structure which can be expanded and collapsed in the usual way of such tree structures. It expands infinitely when a cyclical data structure is created. I don't think that this tree structure is a really good jumping off point for any enhancement in BlueJ.
