This may be considered as a suggestion, or a bug? I leave the decision up to you?
Yesterday I have installed BlueJ version 3.0.9 (Macintosh legacy version). I was curious about the new feature ? language change in the settings dialog. I changed the language to Slovak and restarted BlueJ.
Everything worked just fine until I tried to insert new method using Cmd+M shortcut. The result is in attached screenshot named ?BlueJ-method-3.0.9.png? (BlueJ ignored UTF-8 encoding of the template). The correct result is attached in screenshot named ?BlueJ-method-3.0.8.png? (hopefully the file names will be shown to you). The problem (as I expected) disappeared after opening BlueJ application package and adding next two lines into file ?Info.plist? at the right place:
{noformat} file.encoding UTF-8 {noformat}
But would it be possible that the template would work even without such change? Because everything else is working just perfect? (and also not each user ? I am considering our students ? is able to make such changes?)
Thank you for any reaction?
